Job Title: Engineering Assistant/Project Controller

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Assistant/Project Controller to join our team at The Dyer Partnership Engineers & Planners, Inc. in Coos Bay, OR.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team on challenging projects that make a difference in small to medium-sized communities in western and southwestern Oregon. As an Engineering Assistant/Project Controller, you will assist upper management, project managers, and engineers with various tasks associated with municipal engineering projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with and prepare engineering proposals, review and assist with the development of contracts and task orders, and monitor and track the progress of contracts, task orders, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develop and manage online bidding documents, prepare and distribute contract documents, addendums, and other documentation, and coordinate with funding agencies to ensure lender's funding requirements are met.
  • Track and file submittals and construction documents, maintain accuracy and quality in work, and answer phone calls and assist clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (Engineering preferred), strong technical writing skills, and experience with municipal projects related to civil and environmental engineering.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the civil and municipal engineering field, fluid in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
