Position Overview:

We are currently in search of Logistics Packaging Specialists who will be tasked with the critical role of packing and dispatching medical prescriptions for veterans.

Schedule: Full-Time First Shift: 6:00am - 12:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Compensation: $18.95 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scanning prescription barcodes.
  • Carefully placing prescriptions into appropriately sized mailing envelopes or boxes.
  • Including patient refill documents and return address labels in each package.
  • Adding protective packing materials to prevent leakage or damage.
  • Sealing and closing containers securely.
  • Labeling packages with addresses and sending completed orders to the manifesting area.
  • Maintaining inventory and ensuring a clean workspace.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates for the Logistics Packaging Specialist position should possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience. Previous roles in cashiering, dishwashing, packing, or assembly line work are advantageous.
  • U.S. citizenship or proof of legal residency.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and have completed high school or possess a GED.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, twist, and stoop as required.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods while performing repetitive motions with hands and wrists.
  • Ability to move stock and packages efficiently.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English.
  • Understanding of selecting the appropriate type and size of containers.
  • Ability to follow directions and meet production and accuracy standards.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Willingness to work regular and overtime hours as needed.

This position is situated within a secured federal facility.


Additional Requirements:

  • Successfully pass a Federal background check with no felony convictions.
