The University of Saint Mary is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our university environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine housekeeping and service work, including cleaning and sanitizing spaces, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and emptying trash.
- Conduct spot checks of mechanical and utility equipment to identify and report any issues.
- Perform turnovers in preparation for summer groups, including making beds and distributing linens and supplies.
- Assist with other job-related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift, push a housekeeping cart, and stand for long periods.
- Tolerance for cleaning chemicals and ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
