Position Overview

We are in search of an Information Security Specialist (Security System Administrator (ACAS/HBSS)) to become a part of our team. This role is integral to supporting operations and entails responsibilities such as maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) servers, configuring systems, troubleshooting software issues, and offering technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the maintenance of RMF servers
  • Constructing, managing, and configuring all RMF Servers
  • Supporting colleagues with system updates
  • Evaluating Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Best Practices
  • Diagnosing software-related issues
  • Administering systems in accordance with Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and updates
  • Delivering IT Technical Support for the site and training units
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in IT management and Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity protocols
  • Familiarity with IT security assessment tools and methodologies
  • Experience in Cybersecurity and RMF-related projects
  • Ability to assist and educate others on RMF policies and procedures
  • DoD Information Assurance Manager Level I Certification required
  • Active US SECRET Security Clearance
