JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Evening Facilities Supervisor
Responsible to: Head Custodian

Qualifications:
Possess a comprehensive understanding of R-9 operational plans and procedures, reporting to the Head Custodian and building administrators as necessary.

Demonstrate effective communication skills and collaborate with staff to uphold high standards of performance and conduct.

Establish and maintain positive relationships with school district personnel, students, and parents.


Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Head Custodian to facilitate projects and oversee custodial staff.
General Duties:
Ensure that school facilities and grounds are maintained in optimal condition, promoting safety, attractiveness, and efficiency to maximize educational benefits.
Specific Responsibilities:
Report directly to the Head Custodian of the facility.

Assist custodial staff in executing their responsibilities, conduct inspections, report equipment and repair needs, and monitor supply levels. Assume the duties of absent custodial staff as required.

Support security measures for the assigned area and participate in evaluating the performance of subordinates.

Cooperate with administration, faculty, and students in arranging furniture and equipment for special events.

Perform regularly assigned custodial tasks and assist with data entry and inspections.

Fulfill additional duties as assigned, taking direction from the Head Custodian, building administrators, and the Director of Maintenance.

Ensure that the assigned area is clean, safe, and prepared for the following day.

Communicate effectively with the Head Custodian regarding any important information that needs to be addressed during the evening shift.

Be available for radio communication with administrators during campus events.

Lead the evening custodial team in completing nightly responsibilities, including setup and teardown of events, cleanup after functions, and securing the facility at the end of the night.

Under the general supervision of the Head Custodian, the Evening Facilities Supervisor serves as the lead worker for custodial staff engaged in evening shift operations.

The Evening Facilities Supervisor should possess a positive attitude and maintain good attendance, demonstrating the ability to resolve issues that arise during the evening shift and effectively communicate with the Head Custodian as needed.
