Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, update, and maintain client company handbooks.
  • Manage unemployment (UE) claims.
  • Administer and maintain client preemployment testing, including background checks, drug screens, and physicals.
  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
  • Identify client vacancies to post jobs, interview, and select applicants.
  • EEOC Compliance Reporting for clients who employ over 50 employees.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist clients in developing effective HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct HR audits and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee Payroll and Benefits Department: Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and effective benefits administration.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an HR Manager or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with PrismHR software a plus.
