Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering various human resources plans and procedures, assisting in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, and preparing and maintaining employee benefit elections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct recruitment efforts for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees
  • Conduct new-employee orientations and assist with writing and placing advertisements
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
  • Administer compensation programs and monitor performance evaluation programs
  • Perform benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees
  • Develop and maintain FMLA, Unemployment, and other records, reports, and logs to conform to regulations
  • Handle employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing
  • Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings and seminars
  • Maintain company organization charts and employee personnel listings
  • Assist in evaluating reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
  • Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from database
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree and three to five years of Human Resources experience, or a master's degree in Human Resources Management and two years of experience in the HR field, or seven years of experience in the HR field. Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.
