Key Responsibilities

  • Meet annual revenue targets through consultative sales to new and existing clients.
  • Create a Personal Development Plan annually to outline personal and professional objectives.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through various channels.
  • Document all client interactions and prospect information in CBIZ systems.
  • Provide tailored recommendations to clients using a consultative approach.
  • Close new business effectively, tracking outcomes and reasons for client decisions.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition for new clients to the client service team.
  • Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers at client organizations.
  • Collaborate with the client service team to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Communicate market insights and trends to leadership.
  • Support cross-selling initiatives within CBIZ.
  • Assist in mentoring and developing junior team members.
  • Achieve annual sales goals as applicable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven consultative sales experience.
  • Must possess and maintain necessary licenses and credentials.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in relevant technology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Willingness to travel as required by client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary target for this position is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience. In addition to salary, employees have access to comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, and various other incentives.
