Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of the hotel throughout guests' experiences, from arrival to departure
- Address guest inquiries and requests with care
- Check-in and assign guests to available accommodations
- Collaborate with other hotel departments regarding room availability
- Gain familiarity with all Biltmore Farms policies, procedures, and amenities
- Act as a thoughtful, innovative, and confident concierge
Essential Qualifications:
As a Front Desk Agent at Biltmore Farms, you embody more than just a welcoming presence; you are the initial impression our guests receive of our establishment and our community. Teamwork is crucial to your success in this role. This position demands tact, diplomacy, grace, and patience.
Education & Experience Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the primary languages used in the workplace is essential. Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is highly desirable.
Knowledge and Skills:
Maintain professionalism in all interactions with guests and colleagues. Ability to identify issues and analyze information effectively. Strong mathematical skills to resolve problems accurately and promptly. Focus and avoid distractions while performing tasks. Capability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Anticipate guest needs and be aware of others' actions and reactions.
