As a Guest Services Representative, your responsibilities will include:
  • Serving as the hotel's face during all phases of a guest's experience, from arrival to departure
  • Addressing guest inquiries and requests with a positive attitude
  • Assigning and checking in guests to available accommodations
  • Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure room readiness
  • Acquainting yourself with all Biltmore Farms policies, procedures, and amenities
  • Acting as a knowledgeable and approachable concierge
Key Attributes

As a Guest Services Representative at Biltmore Farms, you are not just a welcoming figure; you are the initial point of contact for our guests, representing both our hotel and our community. Teamwork is essential for success in this role, and you will need to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and patience in all interactions.

Qualifications & Experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the primary languages used in the workplace is essential. Previous experience in hotel front desk operations is highly desirable.

Skills

Maintain professionalism in all interactions with guests and colleagues. Identify and resolve issues effectively. Utilize mathematical skills to address problems accurately and promptly. Stay focused and avoid distractions while performing tasks. Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Anticipate guest needs and respond accordingly. Be aware of the actions and reactions of others and understand their implications.
