KMS Solutions, LLC is a leading provider of technical management and solutions services. We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity and Systems Integration Engineer to join our team.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing systems infrastructure, analyzing and developing system requirements, and verifying and validating system performance. They will also be expected to diagnose problems and provide recommendations for improvement, as well as collaborate with stakeholders to discuss engineering level issues and topics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement systems infrastructure, including hardware and software components.
- Analyze and develop system requirements, including functional and performance specifications.
- Verify and validate system performance, including testing and quality assurance.
- Diagnose problems and provide recommendations for improvement, including root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including Navy field activities, Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS), and NAVSEA codes, to discuss engineering level issues and topics.
- Review concepts, plans, demonstrations, and other documents as required, providing analysis and recommendations.
- Support capability phasing and conduct requirements analysis as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, such as computer science, engineering, or information technology.
- At least four (4) years full-time professional experience working as a systems engineer, with experience in at least one major shipboard, non-propulsion electronic subsystem.
- At least two (2) years must have been full-time experience at the system level.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in a technical discipline.
- Professional certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
- Experience with system integration and cybersecurity.
Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position, with a mix of office and remote work. The successful candidate will be required to work in a professional office environment, with occasional travel to client sites.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Excellent listening skills are essential. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
