Job Overview

Allied Instrumentation is seeking a seasoned Sales Professional to drive business growth and expand our customer base.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to increase sales and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute strategic sales plans, targeting new markets and customer segments.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for a portfolio of products, including MSA, General Monitors, Yokogawa, Magnetrol, Panametrics, Air Monitors, Swan Analytical, and O'Brien.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services, effectively communicating their value to customers and prospects.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field, with an engineering degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, track, and analyze large datasets.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Excellent active listening skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and preferences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive sales growth.
  • Extensive knowledge of our products and services, with the ability to effectively communicate their value to customers and prospects.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the MRO market, with a strong understanding of the industry and its trends.

Physical Demands
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, with occasional travel required.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds, with occasional heavy lifting or bending.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
