Job Overview

Allied Instrumentation is seeking a skilled Account Manager to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets for key product lines, including MSA, General Monitors, Yokogawa, Magnetrol, Panametrics, Air Monitors, Swan Analytical, and O'Brien.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Allied Instrumentation's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, communications, or related field.
  • Engineering degree preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
  • Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the MRO market preferred.
Work Environment
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Able to travel 50% of the time.
