Account Manager

Allied Instrumentation is seeking a skilled Account Manager to drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Meet or exceed sales targets for key product lines, including MSA, General Monitors, Yokogawa, Magnetrol, Panametrics, Air Monitors, Swan Analytical, and O'Brien.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Allied Instrumentation's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree in sales, communications, or related field.
- Engineering degree preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent active listening skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
- Extensive, accurate product knowledge.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the MRO market preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Able to travel 50% of the time.
