Job Summary

Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Technician to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, issue, and accountability of supplies and equipment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Assist with the request, receipt, issue, and accountability of supplies and equipment.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure critical assets are on-hand and ordered while maintaining accurate records of all procurements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, transactions, and other relevant data.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain professional relationships with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and other supply chain issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in inventory control.
  • Skills: High proficiency in computerized inventory control tracking/POS systems, effective written and oral communication skills, and basic math calculations.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-driven, detail-oriented, punctual, excellent attendance, and strong computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in business, supply chain, or related field.
  • Experience: Five years of experience in inventory control.
