Job Overview

Role Summary: In collaboration with the miCare Operations leadership team, this role is pivotal in supporting the daily functions of team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to all regulatory standards. The Clinical Operations Coordinator is tasked with understanding and executing the miCare mission and philosophy, alongside company and clinical protocols, while effectively communicating with clinical management to oversee patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Coordinate and oversee patient and clinical care activities, ensuring proper documentation.
    • Lead daily team meetings and provide updates to the Practice Manager.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Communicate with external vendors and escalate concerns to the Practice Manager.
    • Facilitate maintenance and repair issues, reporting them as necessary.
    • Assist with incoming communications, scheduling appointments, and maintaining clinic cleanliness.
    • Manage staff schedules and address any staffing issues.
    • Handle employee and patient concerns, providing updates to the Practice Manager.
    • Conduct training for new employees on clinical processes.
    • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to procedural implementations.
    • Support daily operations in the absence of the Practice Manager.
  • Client Relations:
    • Serve as a liaison to resolve issues between clients, employees, and relevant stakeholders.
    • Act as the first point of contact for problem resolution.
    • Monitor patient feedback for any concerns.
  • Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide prompt follow-up with staff and customers.
    • Escalate complex issues appropriately.
    • Exemplify core values in customer service interactions.
    • Foster strong relationships with medical professionals and clinical staff.
    • Ensure effective communication between patients, their families, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in public health or a related field.
  • Experience in a supervisory or management role in patient care is preferred.
  • Knowledge of current medical standards and practices.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel for training and support purposes.

Work Environment:

The role is primarily office-based, requiring moderate physical activity, including lifting and moving. A typical workday involves extensive use of a computer and communication tools.
