Job Overview

Position Summary: In collaboration with the miCare Operations leadership team, this role is essential in facilitating the daily functions of team members to ensure timely completion of all projects while adhering to established standards. The Clinical Operations Coordinator is tasked with understanding and implementing the miCare mission and philosophy, alongside company and clinical policies, while effectively communicating with clinical management to oversee patient care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Duties:
    • Coordinate, oversee, and document patient and clinical care activities.
    • Lead daily team meetings and provide updates to the Practice Manager.
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
    • Communicate with external vendors and escalate concerns to the Practice Manager.
    • Manage maintenance and repair issues, reporting them to the Practice Manager.
    • Assist with incoming communications, patient scheduling, and overall clinic operations.
    • Supervise staff schedules and address attendance issues.
    • Handle employee and patient inquiries, providing updates to the Practice Manager.
    • Conduct training for new staff on clinical processes and participate in meetings.
    • Implement and support operational procedures throughout the facility.
    • Assist with additional clinical responsibilities as required.
    • Support daily operations in the absence of the Practice Manager.
  2. Client Relations:
    • Facilitate communication and resolution of issues between clients, staff, and management.
    • Serve as the primary support for resolving client-related issues.
    • Monitor clinic feedback for any patient-related concerns.
  3. Customer Service Excellence:
    • Provide prompt and thorough follow-up with staff and clients.
    • Escalate complex issues appropriately within the organization.
    • Exemplify core values in customer service interactions.
    • Build strong relationships with medical professionals and clinical staff.
    • Ensure effective communication between patients, their families, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

  • At least three years of clinical experience in public health or a related field.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in patient care is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of current standards of practice in medical clinics.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Proven capability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel for training and ongoing support.

Work Environment:

This position primarily operates in an office setting with moderate noise levels. Physical demands may include lifting up to 25 pounds and engaging in various physical activities throughout the workday.
