Position Overview:
Are you eager to contribute to vibrant communities? We are looking for a motivated Property Management Associate to assist in the daily operations at The Confluence in South Seattle. This property plays a crucial role in providing housing for those qualifying under the Low Income Tax Credit Program. As a member of our Site Management team, you will be instrumental in furthering our objectives of community enhancement and resident support.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week, with flexibility. Some evening or weekend hours may be required for leasing appointments.

Your Contributions:

  • Engage with the community through a flexible Monday-Friday schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for leasing needs.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring residents, prospects, and community partners have positive experiences.
  • Oversee rent collections, maintain resident accounts, and contribute to the financial success of the property.
  • Manage eligibility and leasing processes by interacting with prospective residents, processing applications, and ensuring compliance.
  • Support resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, enforcing lease terms, and safeguarding resident rights.
  • Collaborate with various teams to maintain an exceptional living environment, including property upkeep and safety measures.
  • Act as a resource for resident needs, working alongside Bellwether's Resident Services and Facilities teams to foster community engagement.
Who You Are:
  • You possess 1+ years of experience in residential property management, leasing, or high-volume customer service.
  • You are familiar with affordable housing programs such as LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8.
  • You are proficient in property management software, with Yardi experience being a plus.
  • Your customer service skills are exceptional, and you are adept at problem-solving.
  • You thrive in inclusive settings and enjoy connecting with diverse individuals.
  • You have knowledge of Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Law.
  • You are detail-oriented and organized, with strong file management skills.
  • You are skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • You have reliable transportation for commuting.
