About the Role

FPI Management is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead and mentor our Maintenance Team at one of our multifamily properties. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and capital improvement needs of the property are met, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor the Maintenance Team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
  • Develop and implement a daily and preventative maintenance program to ensure the property is well-maintained and safe
  • Inspect the property and common areas daily to identify maintenance issues and coordinate repairs
  • Coordinate and complete maintenance requests within 24 hours
  • Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on vacant apartments to ensure they are ready for move-in
  • Repair and maintain equipment owned by the property
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and storage areas
  • Ensure all maintenance staff personnel complete their duties in a timely manner to minimize labor costs
  • Comply with all FPI Management policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in residential property management
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate required
  • Industry certification or designation (CAMT, NAHMS, NAHMT) preferred
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required
  • Ability to wear a respirator and be medically fit for duty
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Google Apps, property management-related software)
