Position Summary:
The Area Supervisor (AS) plays a crucial role in supporting the Portfolio Manager (PM) in overseeing a designated group of properties. This position is integral in ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures set forth by FPI Management, Inc. The AS will oversee all on-site staff and is accountable for the operational performance of the properties under their management, ensuring alignment with client expectations and budgetary guidelines.
Compensation: Competitive salary range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership:
• Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment in managing complex administrative and operational tasks.
• Ensure properties are maintained according to management agreements. - Client Relations:
• Uphold the owner’s philosophies in daily operations to meet client objectives. - Communication:
• Foster effective communication with all stakeholders, including residents and vendors.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from residents and clients. - Employee Management:
• Assist in the recruitment and training of on-site personnel.
• Provide ongoing training and support to enhance employee performance. - Leasing and Occupancy:
• Support on-site teams in achieving occupancy goals as per budget expectations. - Revenue Management:
• Identify opportunities for additional income and cost savings.
• Monitor collections and ensure maximum revenue potential is achieved. - Reporting and Documentation:
• Ensure all properties maintain necessary documentation and compliance with reporting requirements. - Risk Management:
• Ensure compliance with risk management protocols and timely reporting of incidents. - Facility Maintenance:
• Oversee project budgets and monitor service requests for efficiency and resident satisfaction. - General Duties:
• Enforce community rules and regulations consistently and fairly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within property management.
- Experience in residential property management or related fields is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- High School diploma or equivalent is necessary.
