Job Summary

The Senior Budget Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing the budget formulation process, which includes preparing budgets, forecasting revenues, and developing comprehensive business plans. This position is responsible for coordinating training sessions related to budget processes for departmental staff.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:
1. Formulate annual budgets and revenue forecasts.
2. Conduct thorough analysis of budgetary data to identify discrepancies.
3. Compile and present detailed financial analysis reports as needed.
4. Manage salary updates and facilitate data transfers within financial systems.
5. Generate analytical reports to track financial performance.
6. Supervise budget office personnel and delegate tasks effectively.
7. Prepare and review long-term business plans and fee submissions for governance.
8. Analyze compliance with financial policies and recommend adjustments as necessary.
9. Update budgets for revenue-generating departments.
10. Organize and lead training sessions for financial managers.
11. Address inquiries related to budgeting processes.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Experience:
A minimum of seven years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Education:
Master's degree in Business, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $66,760 to $72,000, commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, vacation, retirement plans, and tuition waivers.

Proficient in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office and financial management systems.
