Position Overview:


We are seeking a proficient backend engineer to join our Employee Technology Platform Solutions team. In this role, you will be tasked with developing and architecting features for an enterprise self-service portal that provides technology insights, solutions, and answers to common challenges.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop clean, scalable code utilizing .NET programming languages.
  • Engage in story refinement, defining requirements, and estimating stories.
  • Conduct backend development involving HTML pages.
  • Implement solutions and unit tests to meet defined acceptance criteria and compliance standards.
  • Assist the team in overcoming technical challenges related to story execution.
  • Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test outcomes, identify issues, and address root causes.
  • Document and communicate essential information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.
  • Participate in and mentor team members during delivery/release (CI-CD) events, including branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge conflict resolution, and release notes.


Position Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in backend application development using .NET Core/MVC and .NET Framework.
  • 5 years of experience in application development with C# and Visual Studio.
  • 5 years of experience with SQL databases.
  • Extensive experience in building API-based architectures.
  • Experience in developing web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Familiarity with React, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, JSON, and HTML5.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment using Jira for task management.
  • Experience with Git/Bitbucket for source control.
  • Comfortable working independently on backend tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
