Position Overview:

We are in search of a highly proficient and meticulous Cyber Claims Examiner with a strong focus on fraud detection and prevention.

The ideal candidate will possess an extensive understanding of cyber insurance policies and demonstrate expertise in identifying and investigating fraudulent claims. Join our dynamic team to help protect our clients from cyber threats and fraudulent activities.



Key Responsibilities:

Claims Assessment:
Evaluate and process cyber insurance claims, ensuring compliance with policy terms and conditions. Scrutinize claim documentation, including incident reports and forensic analyses.

Fraud Investigation:
Employ advanced methodologies and tools to detect potential fraudulent claims. Conduct in-depth investigations to assess the legitimacy of claims.

Incident Review:
Collaborate with cybersecurity experts to comprehend the nature of cyber incidents and the validity of associated claims. Analyze and interpret technical reports and data.

Record Keeping:
Maintain precise and comprehensive records of claims, investigations, and findings. Generate detailed reports on fraud investigations and their outcomes.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all claim handling and investigations adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and legal standards.

Effective Communication:
Engage with policyholders, providing clear explanations of claim decisions and the investigation process. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including underwriting and legal, to resolve claims.

Ongoing Education:
Stay informed about the latest trends in cyber fraud and insurance. Offer training and guidance to team members on fraud detection techniques and best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Insurance, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber claims examination, with a focus on fraud detection and investigation.
Strong knowledge of cyber insurance policies, cyber threats, and incident response procedures.
Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in utilizing fraud detection tools and software.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CFE, CISSP, CIFI) are preferred.
