Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Senior Analyst to lead the establishment of a comprehensive cyber security GRC initiative. This pivotal role involves the formulation of GRC protocols, implementation of risk management strategies, enhancement of training programs, development of policies, and assurance of compliance with security standards. You will report directly to the Chief Information Security Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enforce enterprise-wide cyber security policies and controls to effectively manage risks.
  • Oversee the cyber security risk management program to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Maintain a cyber security risk register and collaborate on strategies to address identified risks.
  • Conduct compliance assessments in alignment with security policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Design and implement security training programs while managing data loss prevention efforts.
  • Participate in incident response drills, compliance initiatives, and stay informed about emerging cyber security threats.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the cyber security program and contribute to various security projects.

Candidate Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in cyber security GRC.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field; relevant professional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CGEIT, GRCP are preferred.
  • Familiarity with industry frameworks including NIST, ISO, MITRE, OWASP, PCI-DSS, SOX.
  • Solid understanding of data privacy laws such as CCPA and GDPR.
  • Proven experience in conducting cyber security risk assessments and translating technical risks into business implications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
