Job Overview:

The Claims Analyst is tasked with scrutinizing reconciliation discrepancies to minimize claim settlements while enhancing customer satisfaction under the guidance of the Regional Vice President.

The role involves interviewing relevant parties to ascertain the cause of incidents.

This position is accountable for ensuring adherence to business operational protocols and collaborating with branch management to pinpoint areas for improvement.

This role operates in a secured environment.

Key Duties:
  • Oversee case and claim data for branches within the designated region.
  • Facilitate enhancements through proactive communication with branches and escalate lead indicators of claims, such as variances and CVS backlog.
  • Provide assistance and direction to branch personnel responsible for case and claims management.
  • Engage with National VA for support on complex discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with branch management on root cause analysis for elevated case and claims volumes, devising necessary countermeasures.
  • Conduct proactive audits at branches to ensure compliance with procedures related to routes, cash rooms, and end-of-day BAMS processes.
  • Ensure all variances are reviewed within 24 hours and BIRS updated within 48 hours.
  • Resolve inventory variances and complete end-of-day BAMS for customer reporting.
  • For significant variances, ensure timely interviews, evidence collection, and investigations.
  • Review unusual trends in variances with branches and security, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
  • Support branch cases and claims as needed for customer escalations.
  • Identify, research, and resolve cases and claims in collaboration with branches to mitigate risk.
  • Maintain daily communication with branches regarding the status of cases and claims.
  • Ensure all vaults and inventories are balanced daily, escalating issues to the VA team for assistance.
  • Escalate unresolved claims beyond 25 days and any high-value claims to the assigned Variance Analyst.
  • Comprehend end-to-end operational processes that may impact ATM balancing (CVS, CIT, etc.).
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports for district and branch leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in the ATM industry (e.g., servicing, residual balancing, or network settlement).
  • Alternatively, a minimum of 3 years in investigating and resolving claims discrepancies.
  • Or, a minimum of 3 years in a finance-related role.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel as required to other branches within the region.

Salary Range:
$65,000 - $72,000

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with ATM reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in Access DB, BAMS, and iCash.
