As a Senior Cyber Risk Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting complex Cyber and Technology Errors & Omissions (E&O) risks. Your role will involve fostering strong relationships with agents, brokers, and the business development team to enhance our portfolio in the designated area. You will provide critical market insights in this dynamic sector to ensure our offerings remain competitive across all specialty products. Your efforts will contribute to achieving our long-term financial objectives.
In collaboration with the Cyber Practice lead, you will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to facilitate necessary adjustments in product offerings, coverage, and pricing for our cyber solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance or reinsurance sector.
- At least 3 years of experience specifically in Cyber Liability underwriting, alongside 3 years in related fields such as Cyber claims, product management, or security.
- Experience in Commercial Underwriting and/or Marketing.
- Established broker relationships within the assigned territory.
- Familiarity with Cyber, Tech E&O, or other Management Liability products, including Crime and Management Professional Liability (MPL) from either an insurance or consulting perspective.
- Strong collaborative skills.
- Highly analytical mindset.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
- Comprehensive industry knowledge.
- Understanding of insurance concepts and products.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
