We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer specializing in Power Solutions to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer, you will:

Report directly to the Electronics and Electrical Section Manager, collaborating with a talented group of over 55 other engineers.

  • Lead or collaborate with Electrical Engineers on various projects.
  • Support innovative designs from initial concept through analysis, manufacturing, and operational testing.
  • Provide design support and expertise in multiple facets of Electronics System Development.
  • Familiarize yourself with industry specifications for Electronics.
  • This role requires a consistent on-site presence, engaging with the project team daily.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

This position may be available at multiple levels.

Depending on the candidate's experience and organizational needs, we reserve the right to consider applicants at any level.

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a related master's or higher degree preferred, and 2 to 5 years of related experience.

Prior experience should include:
  • Analog, Digital, and Power electrical schematic entry and PCB layout tools.
  • System testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Conducting anomaly investigations and root-cause failure analysis.
  • Generating Electrical Procedures.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines.
  • Power analysis, spice simulation, and derating cables/PCB.
  • Understanding system requirements and conducting verification and validation.
  • Analog circuit design for space applications and schematic capture using Altium.
  • System engineering and environmental testing.
  • Leading electronics design engineering teams and mentoring peers.
  • Familiarity with organizational standards and processes.

Requisition Preferences:
  • Knowledge of data interface protocols and associated hardware.
  • Experience with system hardware testing tools.
  • Familiarity with mathematical modeling and algorithm development.
  • Proficiency in configuration management and version control software.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
