At Allspring Global Investments, we're seeking a seasoned Regional Director to drive sales growth and lead our team in Indiana, Kentucky, and Cincinnati. As a key member of our Intermediary Sales channel, you'll be responsible for expanding our mutual funds, separately managed accounts, money funds, and DCIO business at broker dealers and RIAs.
As a Regional Director, you'll demonstrate leadership through strategic planning, relationship-building, and sales execution. You'll establish yourself as a trusted resource for market insight, asset management solutions, and practice management solutions. Your expertise will help us penetrate new markets, deepen existing relationships, and maximize competitiveness of our products.
We're looking for a results-driven professional with a strong service orientation, high energy, and a sense of urgency. You'll have a solid knowledge of industry-specific needs, constraints, and opportunities for wealth and investment management. Your ability to draw consensus across Allspring will be essential in structuring creative solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with sales management to provide feedback and insights on industry trends and market demands.
- Achieving top-tier market share at the territory level, focus firms, and focus products.
- Providing updates on Financial Advisors' portfolios and discussing best investment strategies and business management ideas.
- Leveraging third-party speakers, portfolio managers, and product specialists to drive sales growth.
- Identifying and partnering with key local Centers of Influence and broker/dealer personnel to expand relationships and increase client access.
- Strategizing ways to penetrate new markets and deepen existing relationships to maximize competitiveness of products.
- Partnering with home office platform investment strategy consultants and key accounts relationship managers to ensure execution on strategies with key internal and external distribution channels.
Required qualifications include:
- 5+ years of sales experience with top Financial Advisory firms.
- Experience exceeding established performance goals.
- Solid knowledge of industry-specific needs, constraints, and opportunities for wealth and investment management.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63 (or 66) certifications.
- Ability to travel 80% of the time.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrable intellect and excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation is preferred.
