Job Overview

Aspire Bakeries, a prominent North American baking enterprise specializing in frozen baked goods, is on the lookout for a proactive and results-oriented Senior Analyst to enhance our operational performance across our bakery facilities. Our organization, born from the merger of leading bakery brands, prides itself on its innovative product range, which includes a variety of breads, pastries, and baked treats.

This critical position involves the analysis of production metrics, spearheading process enhancement initiatives, and nurturing a culture of ongoing improvement through the application of effective methodologies and strategies. The ideal candidate will serve as a catalyst for change, equipped with robust analytical capabilities, and will oversee activities related to performance metrics, quality assurance, and KPI tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the achievement of strategic and operational goals with a proactive mindset.
  • Act as a change leader, coordinating efforts around performance metrics, quality assurance, and KPI oversight.
  • Facilitate and lead project teams while championing the Aspire Operations Excellence initiative, enhancing operational systems and best practices.
  • Gather, document, and present production data from various sources, including production schedules and specifications.
  • Oversee the management and adherence to standard operating procedures and product specifications.
  • Examine production trends and discrepancies, conducting root cause analysis and collaborating with production leadership to devise sustainable solutions.
  • Create visual tools to assist production in establishing a sustainable operational framework.
  • Educate and mentor staff on process improvement techniques such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of significant production events to minimize the risk of recurrence.
  • Calculate production-related metrics, including material usage and production rates.
  • Maintain organized documentation and records.
  • Compile production statistics for reference by management and production teams.
  • Address and resolve any SAP-related issues, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Ensure all information is complete and accurate as per company policy, following up on any discrepancies.
  • Commit to maintaining and enhancing the quality, legality, and safety of products and processes, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical field (e.g., Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance).
  • Three to five years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience; preference for candidates with over five years in Process Improvement, Project Management, or Process Analysis within a manufacturing context.
  • Experience with programming and data querying tools (e.g., Visual Basics, DAX, SQL) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and other project management software.
  • Strong project management capabilities and a data-driven approach to process enhancement.
  • Ability to perform calculations involving proportions, percentages, and basic algebra and geometry.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interpret and convey complex information clearly.
  • Knowledge of various software applications related to word processing, spreadsheets, inventory management, and manufacturing.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $86,000, reflecting the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
