Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Operations Analyst to join our team at Aspire Bakeries. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across our bakery operations, analyzing production data, and leading process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company's strategic and operational objectives with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Direct and coordinate activities around performance, quality controls, and key performance indicator (KPI) monitoring.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional teams to improve operational systems, processes, and best practices.
  • Compile, record, and display production data from various sources, including production schedules, product specifications, and worker production sheets.
  • Monitor, manage, and maintain standard operating procedures and product specifications.
  • Analyze production trends and inconsistencies, perform root cause analysis, and develop sustainable solutions in partnership with production leadership.
  • Develop visual aids to support production and create a sustainable operation.
  • Lead, train, and educate staff on process improvement methodologies and techniques, such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Problem Solving, and Kaizen.
  • Manage and maintain a log of major events within production to mitigate risk of repeat incidents.
  • Calculate factors such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, scrap, and worker and department production rates.
  • Maintain files of documents used and prepared.
  • Chart production based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel.
  • Review and resolve SAP issues and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely SAP reporting.
  • Verify accuracy and completeness of information received and follow up on missing information with supervisors and leads.
  • Work to maintain and improve product quality, legality, and safety, as well as keep assigned work areas clean and tidy.
  • Report potential contamination and suspicious activity to supervisors immediately.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field, such as science, math, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Programming and data querying software experience, including Visual Basics, DAX, or SQL.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
  • Strong project management skills and analytical approach to process improvement.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as proportions, percentages, decimals, and Baker's percent.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
Salary Range

$78,000 - $86,000

Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each team member brings to our organization. The final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on factors such as location, shift, education, skill, and experience within the job or industry.
