Position Overview:
Our client is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Bakery Packaging Specialist. This position is located in a bustling commercial bakery that produces a variety of baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Bakery Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring that all packed products meet quality and specification standards, including aspects such as color, weight, and appearance.
  • Accurately packing production units into cases, following specific case packing guidelines.
  • Inserting necessary materials into cases, such as master case liners and baking instructions.
  • Properly labeling and recording packaging documents in a timely manner.
  • Operating various packaging machinery, including metal detectors and product counters.
  • Reporting any machinery malfunctions to the Packaging Lead or Production Supervisor.

Work Environment:
This role requires working in a smoke-free environment, wearing steel-toed footwear, and handling manual lifting of up to 50 lbs. You will be expected to stand for extended periods and may work weekends and overtime as needed.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have at least 1 year of experience in a production or packaging role. This is an entry-level position, and no formal education is required.
