Role Responsibilities

As a Mixing Technician II, your primary duty will be to accurately prepare and blend ingredients in accordance with specified recipes. You will join a diverse and inclusive team that prioritizes safety, quality, and innovation. If you possess experience in mixing operations and have a passion for crafting delightful baked goods, this position is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare ingredients as outlined in the recipe; manage the preparation and mixing of various components such as starters, sponges, and other ingredients to meet specified mixing times and temperatures.
  • Continuously monitor and regulate dough temperatures throughout the mixing process, ensuring adherence to recipe specifications for desired characteristics.
  • Visually and physically assess the dough's texture to confirm it meets targeted standards. Oversee the efficiency of the mixing line to prevent exceeding its capacity.
  • Maintain vigilant oversight of ingredient inventory, ensuring refrigerated items are stored properly.
  • When permissible, incorporate waste dough back into mixes as specified, ensuring accurate scale functionality.
  • Document mixing data promptly and accurately. Keep mixing equipment clean and sanitized, and ensure batch containers are properly identified and weighed.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in coolers and mixing areas, including lifting and handling 50 lbs. flour bags as needed.
  • Monitor the use time of starters and ensure completion of mixing documentation at the end of shifts.
  • Strive to uphold and enhance the quality, legality, and safety of all products and manufacturing processes. Maintain a tidy work area and report any potential contamination or suspicious activities to a Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently.

Shift: 3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am)

Hourly Rate: $21.66
