This pivotal role within the senior leadership team, reporting directly to the CFO, is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization. The Vice President of Finance will engage in daily business activities and possess the expertise to drive the company’s financial objectives, focusing on sales and profitability enhancement. A meticulous approach is essential for generating insightful financial analyses and delivering strategic recommendations to the executive team, ensuring maximum value realization.

Key Responsibilities:


• Proactively update income statements and cash flow forecasts reflecting business developments.


• Supervise all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.


• Lead Financial Planning and Analysis initiatives, employing financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.


• Manage the annual budgeting cycle and leverage operational metrics to identify areas for margin improvement.


• Establish a reliable cash forecasting system that supports a robust ROI framework for investment timing.


• Direct risk management strategies through effective claims oversight, establishing necessary financial reserves, and communicating risk insights to operational teams.


• Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including the leadership team, suppliers, lenders, and auditors.


• Understand the dynamics of operating within a private equity-owned environment.


• Develop precise reporting mechanisms, including key performance indicators, to guide daily operations and enhance decision-making processes.


• Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations and compliance with established financial policies.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA or CPA preferred.


• Over 15 years of financial management experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.


• Proven ability to integrate and manage mergers and acquisitions.


• Successful track record in fast-paced, results-oriented environments.


• Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving capabilities.


• Experience in building finance and risk management frameworks to support organizational growth.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.


• Familiarity with accounting software, particularly NetSuite and Adaptive, is advantageous.
