About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technologist II to join our team at Sovah Health - Martinsville. As a key member of our Sleep Laboratory, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced sleep testing procedures and associated interventions, recognizing normal and abnormal sleep patterns and tracings.
  • Supervise and train Sleep Laboratory Technicians and Trainees, ensuring they meet the highest standards of patient care and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate with the RPSGT Sleep Center Clinical Manager or Patient Care Coordinator to ensure seamless operations and high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in sleep medicine and polysomnography, attending training and educational seminars as prescribed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of department policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
  • At least two years of experience working in a sleep laboratory, with specific training administered by an RPSGT and a Sleep Board Certified Medical Director.
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and licensure by the Virginia Board of Medicine to practice Polysomnography.
