Our agency is expanding and is in search of a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence to join our team as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. We serve a diverse clientele across various sectors, including food service and real estate. The Account Executive will play a crucial role in client retention and relationship management.

The ideal candidate will manage a diverse portfolio that encompasses all aspects of property and casualty insurance for both new and existing clients. Candidates should have experience in commercial lines, exceptional customer service abilities, proficiency in technology, and a keen attention to detail.

We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective communication with team members and clients throughout the account management process.

• Adhere to agency protocols for renewal processes, including internal meetings, information gathering, submission preparation, market identification, follow-ups for quotes, proposal preparation, and documentation.

• Respond promptly to all client inquiries, including urgent requests for policy documents such as certificates and ID cards.

• Provide informed recommendations and guidance to clients regarding their insurance needs.

• Prepare proposals for new business and summarize account details.

• Manage incoming sales inquiries and walk-in clients as necessary.

• Conduct cross-selling and account rounding to ensure clients have adequate coverage.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an Independent Agency with a current Property & Casualty license is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all lines of commercial insurance.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic work environment.

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software and systems.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

• Familiarity with insurance carrier servicing tools (HawkSoft).
