Regional Distribution Sales Manager

As a Regional Distribution Sales Manager at Ruhrpumpen, you will be responsible for growing distribution and OEM sales in the East Coast, increasing market share by managing the current network and adding additional channel partners where needed to meet sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the indirect sales channel and distribution segment.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the current channel and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identify, interview, and propose new distributors to achieve sales goals.
- Manage and support distributors to ensure growth within company parameters.
- Properly record and utilize CRM system data.
- Assist distributors to increase competency in Ruhrpumpen products and processes.
- Provide feedback to the North American Distributor Sales Manager on distributor sales performance and competitive information.
- Maintain adequate communication with distribution to discuss goals, performance, and promotional materials.
- Ensure sales objectives are met relative to market conditions and competitive factors.
- Work with Market Managers to identify and develop distribution channels.
- Provide sales training and support to distributor personnel.
- Complete and follow up with the Target Account Form program for each distributor salesperson.
Requirements:
- Willingness and availability to travel up to 60-70% of the time within the region.
- Excellent understanding of the Distribution Sales Channel and ability to support company growth.
- Ability to respond with a strong sense of urgency and care to distributor and customer requests.
- Must have at least 3 years' experience in pumps and related products.
This position is based out of your home office and the ideal candidate should live near a major airport in the East Coast.
