Position Overview:

The Store Manager is accountable for achieving revenue objectives, supervising daily store functions while ensuring compliance with safety standards, managing both production and retail activities, and guaranteeing satisfaction for both customers and donors. This role includes the responsibility of training, developing, and retaining store personnel, ensuring adherence to wage and hour regulations, and effectively addressing employee relations challenges. Relocation within a 25-mile radius of San Diego County may be required.

  • Supervise daily store functions, manage necessary reporting, and meet revenue targets.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, resolve customer issues, and uphold product quality and pricing standards.
  • Evaluate store performance and collaborate with the District Manager on sales and production strategies.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized store in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and inspire staff to foster a positive work atmosphere, enhance productivity, and meet departmental objectives.
  • Implement organizational initiatives such as 4DX methodology and Kaizen for continuous improvement.
  • Engage in the hiring and termination processes, effectively managing employment relationship issues.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies:

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in email, internet navigation, Microsoft Word, and Excel is essential.

Certificates & Licenses: A valid California Driver's License, proof of insurance, and a satisfactory driving record are necessary. An insured, reliable vehicle is also required.

Additional Requirements: Ability to operate an electronic cash register, perform basic arithmetic, and interpret sales reports is essential.
