Position Overview

As a pivotal member of the management team, the Retail Operations Leader is responsible for steering essential components of the store's performance. This role involves attracting, mentoring, and nurturing Team Members to drive significant business outcomes while ensuring that the in-store experience aligns with our dedication to outstanding service and promoting global wellness.

In this capacity, the Retail Operations Leader fosters a culture that reflects the Company's values and service principles. This position requires a balance of operational insight, robust business knowledge, and a focus on people to enhance the productivity and profitability of the retail environment.

The Retail Operations Leader collaborates closely with the Store Manager to formulate annual and quarterly strategies aimed at business growth, emphasizing People, Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Community Engagement.

Through daily responsibilities, this role contributes to reinforcing Saje's culture by actively engaging in behaviors that resonate with our core values: Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness, and Belonging.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and train Team Members dedicated to fostering financial wellness in our retail locations.
  • Motivate, develop, and retain Team Members by leveraging their unique talents and expertise.
  • Establish and maintain a succession planning strategy.
  • Conduct mid-year and annual performance evaluations, set objectives, and provide ongoing feedback to direct reports.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop strategic plans that support business growth.
  • Drive business performance and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, average transaction value, inventory turnover, customer traffic, conversion rates, loyalty program expansion, and labor targets.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen and analytical capabilities to enhance store performance.
  • Ensure Team Members possess the necessary product knowledge to make informed recommendations to community members.
  • Maintain presentation standards and identify merchandising opportunities to elevate the in-store experience.
  • Foster an environment of exceptional community member service, sharing our unique products and promoting wellness through the in-store experience.
  • Adopt a proactive and innovative approach to business growth through community outreach initiatives.
  • Inspire and uplift your team through effective coaching, collaboration, and by embodying our core values.
