Business Development Specialist

SpotOn: Sales is seeking a Business Development Specialist to promote our innovative software solutions to local businesses and restaurants. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
About the Role:
- Promote our full product suite to small business owners and restaurant operators
- Travel to client sites within a designated territory to prospect, build relationships, and sign up new clients
- Manage the sales cycle from start to finish, including prospecting, demo, proposal, and close
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, with a focus on selling software and point-of-sale solutions
Requirements:
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the SMB or restaurant space
- Proven track record of delivering against sales goals, with a metrics-oriented approach
- Excellent cold calling and prospecting skills, with ability to build strong relationships
- Proficient in CRM software, preferably Salesforce
Compensation:
- A competitive base salary of $50,000, with on-target earnings of $110,000 per year
- Daily commissions for new accounts signed, bonuses for hardware and implementation, and monthly production bonuses
