HAIR AND NAIL CARE SPECIALIST

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Hair and Nail Care Specialist who is passionate about delivering excellence and brings enthusiasm to every task. Our specialists have the opportunity to enhance our guest experience by showcasing their extensive knowledge of the Resort and embodying the Golden Rule in every interaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver high-quality, expert salon services in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Perform professional haircuts, styling, chemical treatments, conditioning therapies, and manicures and pedicures using the latest techniques.
  • Commence all services promptly at the scheduled appointment times and complete them within the designated time frame.
  • Responsible for shampooing and conditioning clients' hair and scalp, recommending and utilizing suitable products for each service.
  • Educate guests on salon services and retail products available for purchase, as well as other offerings in the Sports Club & Spa.
  • Introduce guests to new products and suggest enhancements to services and/or products.
  • Consult with guests on appropriate hair and nail care and recommend suitable products for home use.
  • Maintain familiarity with all aspects of the Sports Club & Spa, including appointment procedures and the Menu of Services.
  • Ensure proper opening and closing procedures for the Salon are followed.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized at all times, ensuring all salon tools and equipment are sanitized after each use to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness and orderliness of facilities, ensuring adequate supplies and amenities are available in all areas.
  • Manage inventory control of linens and supplies, ensuring high-quality presentation.
  • Timely disposal of soiled laundry to designated areas.
  • Regularly communicate inventory needs to the Salon Services Coordinator and assist in product ordering.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding guest responses to our services, contributing to the development of an exceptional Spa Menu.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working order, reporting any maintenance or safety issues as necessary.
  • Maintain awareness of personal appearance and grooming standards.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required by business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
  • Licensed as a Cosmetologist by the State of Hawaii.
  • Ability to accurately navigate and utilize computer systems.
  • Strong customer service skills.
