Position Overview: Deliver accessible and impactful Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services to adult offenders enrolled in the TCOOMMI Program, aiming to reduce recidivism rates. Advocate for designated TCOOMMI clients within the Texoma Community Center and the broader community. Provide crisis intervention as needed for program participants. Conduct both group and individual skills training sessions. Collaborate with the TCOOMMI Fidelity Manager and Program Director to coordinate program activities. Maintain effective communication with the Probation/Parole Department and law enforcement agencies. Engage in other TCOOMMI-related tasks as directed by the Program Director, in alignment with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Texoma Community Center. Operate under trauma-informed and recovery-oriented care models that comply with CCBHC standards.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or Counseling is required.
  • Preferred two (2) years of experience in human services.
  • Experience with individuals facing mental health challenges and/or addiction issues is desirable.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to communicate in a second language relevant to the served population is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Consistently applies the Trauma-informed Model of Care, recognizing the widespread impact of trauma.
  • Aware of cultural differences and capable of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
