Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Reporting Manager to join our team at LyondellBasell Industries. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in advancing our corporate sustainability strategies and targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of our annual sustainability report, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with multiple regulatory and voluntary ESG reporting standards.
  • Optimize our disclosure environment for sustainability reporting, enhancing interpretation, application, and compliance with ESG regulatory requirements.
  • Project manage and guide the implementation of our double materiality process, aligned with ESG regulatory and voluntary requirements.
  • Coordinate and optimize our ESG assessments, including investor analyst surveys and questionnaires, to enhance our ESG responses and demonstrate our ESG strategy and roadmap.
  • Develop and implement management reporting on ESG issues, particularly board-level reporting.
  • Manage sustainability-related content in collaboration with our communication department for internal and external platforms.
  • Provide training to various stakeholders on ESG disclosure and reporting requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging global and regional ESG, climate change, and sustainability-related trends to enhance our ESG responses.
Requirements
  • University degree in business, sustainability, law, policy, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, legal, or public policy fields.
  • Proven experience in delivering sustainability reporting for listed companies.
  • Proven experience with interpreting and implementing sustainability reporting frameworks (voluntary and regulatory).
  • Ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to apply strategic thinking and demonstrate understanding of requirements to execute.
  • Experience coordinating large projects across a large number of stakeholders with differing interests.
  • Ability to deliver in ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment.
  • Strong process and systems experience.
  • Stakeholder-oriented and proven ability to deliver results and maintain focus despite varied interests.
  • Ensures accountability for cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborates within and across teams to inspire and advance projects.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (MBA or similar) preferred (or equivalent).
