Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team at Southern States, LLC. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular reviews of manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address material defects and product failures
  • Collaborate with design engineering to conduct FMEA on new product designs
  • Work with manufacturing engineering to research and implement new technology for production and process control
  • Communicate with sales, service personnel, and customers to obtain quality-related information and provide feedback
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • ~5+ years' experience in a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer or related occupation in quality assurance or manufacturing engineering
  • Experience in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook) and 3D CAD design software (Solidworks, Inventor, etc.)
