Job Title: MRI Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
As an MRI Imaging Specialist at Sentara, you will be responsible for performing MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and integrity of the MRI operational area. You will also be responsible for maintaining adequate supply inventory for performing examinations and explaining the examination and procedure to patients, as well as completing departmental documentation.

Responsibilities:
Perform MRI examinations
Maintain safety and integrity of MRI operational area
Maintain adequate supply inventory
Explain examination and procedure to patients
Complete departmental documentation

Requirements:
Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of 24 month program in radiologic technology
CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT certification
1 year experience in a Rad Tech position preferred
6 months MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred

ALD - Associate's
Level Degree: Radiologic Technology, CER - Certificate ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MR) - Certifications - American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Certifications - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - Certification - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - Certifications - Inteleos Inc American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Basic experience of simple office / operational systems, Management, Radiologic Technologist
