We are currently seeking a qualified Environmental Project Manager to oversee a variety of environmental initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in environmental evaluations, remediation strategies, and brownfields redevelopment. This position entails leading comprehensive environmental projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to technical standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Design and manage remediation planning and execution.
- Oversee brownfields redevelopment projects.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary environmental initiatives, focusing on assessment and remediation.
- Manage all phases of projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Uphold high standards of technical design and quality assurance.
- Foster business development and maintain client relationships.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, geology, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with prior project management experience.
- OSHA HAZWOPER certification required.
- Professional licensure such as PE, PG, LSP (MA), or LEP (CT) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or GIS is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and environmental compliance.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
- Proven capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
