PROGRAM MANAGEMENT ANALYST FOR ACQUISITION STRATEGIES


The Program Management Analyst specializing in Acquisition Strategies will deliver critical support to Tactical Networks.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Develop and evaluate acquisition documentation essential for milestone assessments and significant decision-making phases throughout the acquisition lifecycle, adhering to established guidelines.

• Ensure all documentation aligns with relevant Army Regulations and Department of Army Pamphlets governing Acquisition Processes.


• Offer program management assistance for the planning and execution of acquisition cycles, which includes drafting necessary documentation and contributions for Milestone Decision Reviews (MDRs), advising on acquisition strategies, and coordinating the approval process for acquisition documents.

• Monitor the status of acquisition documentation for each program within the portfolio and provide regular updates as necessary.

• Aid in the formulation of the Acquisition Program Baseline (APB) and oversee the program's adherence to this baseline.


• Support the development of new requirements documentation, including Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capabilities Development Document (CDD), and Capabilities Product Document (CPD).


QUALIFICATIONS


• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the preparation and assessment of acquisition documentation for milestone evaluations, monitoring the status of acquisition documents, and supporting the creation of essential documentation.

• Experience must be within a DoD Program Executive Office or similar management structure.


• A Bachelor's degree is required; however, an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for intermediate roles.


SECURITY CLEARANCE
• An active DoD Secret clearance is mandatory.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Occasional travel may be necessary.
