Job Overview

Position Summary: The Project Coordinator will oversee the IR Scene Projector (IRSP) program, ensuring effective management of scheduling, pricing, and technical performance across various projects. This role involves supporting contract negotiations, modifications, and the preparation of project quotes, schedules, specifications, and financial conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of process development activities with a team of experienced engineers.
  • Coordinate the IRSP program area, including project quoting, scheduling, and budget management.
  • Generate project status reports and lead regular customer meetings to maintain clear communication.
  • Implement standard troubleshooting protocols to address project challenges.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project or similar tools.
  • Experience in generating reports for customer updates.
  • Possess strong analytical and laboratory skills.
  • Ability to identify and manage technical risks using a solid technical background.
  • Utilize Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodologies to track program performance against schedules and financial plans, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • US citizenship or permanent resident status is required.
  • Experience in program or project management, including proficiency with Gantt charts and budget oversight.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or DAU) is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 6 years of project management experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector.
  • A degree in physical science or engineering (B.S., M.S., or Ph.D.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with wafer processing and semiconductor device processing is beneficial.
  • Experience in data recording and presentation is essential.
  • Demonstrated project management skills in an R&D environment, with a focus on optimizing processes for manufacturing maturity and implementing quality assurance measures.
