Compensation: $17.20/hr

The Facility Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the thorough cleaning and upkeep of various areas within the facility, including restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes, showers, stairwells, corridors, and elevators. The role encompasses a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform cleaning duties in offices, corridors, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators, escalators, break rooms, libraries, kitchenettes, stairways, locker rooms, and other designated areas.
  • Utilize brooms and mops to sweep and mop floors effectively.
  • Employ vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Dust and maintain furniture and equipment.
  • Polish metal fixtures and fittings to ensure they are presentable.
  • Wash walls, ceilings, and woodwork to maintain cleanliness.
  • Clean door panels and sills as part of routine maintenance.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal and recycling areas.
  • Replenish restroom supplies to ensure availability.
  • Commit to producing high-quality work consistently.
  • Adhere to appropriate conduct and demeanor as outlined by Didlake policy.
  • Follow safety standards and guidelines while using equipment and performing tasks.
  • Complete and maintain all required training as mandated by Didlake.
