About the Role:
Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Material Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for performing limited aspects of technical supply management work related to depot, local or other supply activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies and equipment.
- Requirements determination and forecasting, distribution or redistribution of material, procurement authorization, limited funds management, or other related work.
- Material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance or production shops.
- Generating item descriptions for new items entering the supply channels of a particular agency or field establishment.
- Reviewing existing stock catalogs, manufacturers' catalogs, drawings, or other resource materials for matching characteristics or part numbers.
- Working within a framework of established supply regulations, policies, and procedures or other governing supply management guidelines.
- Handling operating officials regarding limited aspects of program requirements for the organization serviced.
- Providing data to Senior Management necessary to make qualitative decisions about aircraft, equipment, SE, material condition, readiness, utilization, and maintenance workload.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in requisitioning, receiving, storage, issuing and handling of supplies and equipment, Maintenance Control operations to include OOMA and aircraft reporting.
- Working knowledge of supply system processes to include research, stock control, demand processing, issuing, storage, and handling of supplies and equipment, IMRL accounting, stocking, issue, transfer and receipt of associated aircraft IMRL equipment.
- Knowledge and ability to use the OOMA and other DoD web-based sites such as DoD FEDMALL and ONE Touch.
- Top Secret Security Clearance Required. NOTE: US Citizenship is required to obtain/maintain a United States Top Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience preferred.
