Position: Technical Sales Representative

Location: Flexible, with office time required

Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative with extensive experience in security system installations. The successful candidate will utilize their technical knowledge to enhance sales of innovative security solutions. This position requires a blend of technical skills, client relationship management, and a solid sales background.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage technical knowledge to assess client needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Communicate effectively the technical advantages and features of our products to prospective clients.
  • Conduct demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our offerings.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales proposals that highlight the technical specifications and value of our solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure accurate and timely proposal delivery.
  • Act as the main contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to facilitate project initiation and execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients through effective communication.
  • Provide light programming and troubleshooting support for customer systems in collaboration with the technical services team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation of security and CCTV systems, with familiarity in specific product lines being advantageous.
  • Proficient understanding of networking concepts, including network setup and application installation on smart devices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office work and client site visits.
  • Physical requirements may include lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Standard business hours with potential for after-hours communication with clients.

Equipment Utilization:

  • Proficient use of office equipment and laptops for remote tasks.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools for installation tasks.
