Position: Technical Sales Representative

Location: Flexible with office presence required

Role Overview:

We are in search of a motivated and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative with a robust background in equipment installation. The successful candidate will utilize their practical experience to promote and sell innovative technology solutions. This position combines technical knowledge, customer relationship management, and a solid sales history.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage technical skills to comprehend client needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Communicate the technical attributes and advantages of products or services effectively to prospective clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations to showcase essential features and benefits.
  • Prepare comprehensive sales proposals that highlight the technical merits and value of our offerings.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure prompt and accurate proposal delivery.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with technical staff to guide them through project initiation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients through effective communication.
  • Perform light programming and troubleshooting for customer systems in collaboration with the Remote Services team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of installation experience in the Security and CCTV sector, with a focus on specific product lines such as:
    • Avigilon access control and CCTV
    • Lenel OnGuard
    • Hanwha Wisenet
    • Digital Watchdog
    • Turing
  • Functional knowledge of networking, including:
    • Network configuration
    • Router access and port forwarding
    • Application installation and configuration on smart devices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

Working Environment:

  • Work is conducted in both an office setting and various client locations.
  • Some lifting of up to 50 lbs may be required.
  • Standard business hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional communication with clients outside of these hours.

  • General office equipment.
  • Laptop for remote job duties.
  • Basic hand tools.
